Brainstorming for the Benchmarking Project:
- comparison of librarians embedded in online courses
- how librarians are "embedded"
- what role librarian performs--actions, level of activity, proactive vs. passive
- outcomes...? student comments, learning outcomes, faculty comments?
- variety of institutions and course subjects (undergrad or grad, as well?)
- potential clients:
- for UNT Libraries?
- for CLEAR @ UNT?
- email CLEAR about this tomorrow (Patrick, Kelly MacDonald...?)
- library support for distance learning (either services OR materials/resources)
- what services/resources are available? (comparison of what's available)
- how effective? (how would this be measured?)
- QEP project comparison (transforming large-enrollment undergrad courses)
- styles of course redesign
- courses selected for redesign
- outcomes (data comparison)
- Emerald Eagle Scholar program (and mentoring aspect)
- (don't see a way to bring in the library deans educational background research here)
